Order from the conservatory of Saint Michel-sur-Orge
Created on June 5, 2015 Espace Marcel Carné in Saint-Michel-sur-Orge
Duration of the entire cycle: 13'45

These short " paysages sonores ", of various levels, were commissioned by the conservatory of Saint-Michel-sur-Orge as part of a composer residency carried out over the years 2014/2015.
Although these works are written for an educational framework, given their level of requirement, they are to be considered as small concert works for didactic purposes. It's my musical writing, but " simplifiée ", to put it within reach of apprentice instrumentalists.
Teachers should ensure that students play rigorously what is noted - particularly articulations and dynamics - without adding or subtracting anything, and at the right tempo. As far as the interpretation is concerned, the works being composed " de bout en bout ", it is very important to clearly differentiate each of the musical fragments by instantly changing atmosphere and game mode.
This cycle looks like this :

Landscape I - II - III for piano 4 hands and 2 percussionists (pedagogical structure Baschet or percussion). End of cycle 1 level. Duration : ca. 3'45 (1'15 + 1'30 + 1')
Landscape IV for piano 6 hands. End of cycle 2 level. Duration : 4'30
Landscape V for 2 pianos. Level cycle 3. Duration : ca. 5'30

As part of an audition/concert, they can be played either separately or in full. In the latter case, a coherence will emerge because certain motifs are common to the different works. By playing them from the simplest to the most complex, these will appear as variants/variations.
