This composition is placed under the sign of the following two epigraphs which, each in their own way, shed light on the formal work undertaken here.
The shape of this work resembles a vast spiral, a sort of “ investigation which starts to “ délir_cc750 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_» when from a simple search for patterns she slides towards the network of secret reasons, correspondences which guide all works and which she transforms into a free fall, both dizzying and inevitable_cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_: a breathtaking quest towards a goal which, like the horizon, always seems to recede as soon as one approaches. »
(According to Antonio Tabucchi, the thread of the horizon)
« We should be able to make a certain film, a film of insistence, flashbacks, restarts. (Marguerite Duras, writing)
This concerto is a tribute to the pianist and composer Carlos Roqué Alsina, dedicatee of the work, whose precious advice, friendship and trust have accompanied and supported me for many years now.
May he be thanked here.
