My snapshots are “ a scribble in pencil or ink, a little color, and that's it. ” Kees Van Dongen.
This collection of short works is not akin to sketches, studies or preludes, nor to variations in the classical sense of the term, although formal coherence is ensured by a work of variants of the motifs that run through the work. from side to side.
This kind of travel diary, like quick sketches, involves for each of the pieces different musical gestures, nervous, incisive, precise where everything is more suggested than developed.
The general form of the work is as follows :
I=A (ca 3')
II=B (ac 1')
III=C (ac 2')
IV=A' (ca 5')
G=B' (3')
VI=C' (ac 2')
VII=A'' coda (ca 1')
